We’re happy to share the Save the Date for the 2nd Joint Summer School, titled Microbiome in Health and Disease, taking place September 6–10, 2025, on the beautiful island of Syros.

This postgraduate training experience is co-organised by Imperial College London (UK) and the University of Ioannina (Greece), and is designed for: clinicians, biomedical scientists, and dietitians eager to deepen their understanding of the microbiome’s role in health and disease.

Attendees will benefit from cutting-edge lectures, hands-on lab training, and close mentorship from world-renowned experts in microbiome science, clinical medicine, and nutrition. 

All academic sessions and exchanges will take place in a truly inspiring setting — with the stunning Aegean coast just a breath away to enjoy during leisure time.
